So much of what AI could offer us like the drastically slowing or even stopping aging and relieving us of The Daily Grind of working for our needs etcetera is going to be used for the ultra-wealthy while the rest of us for at least a couple of more decades will have the same lifespan we always did because if the wealthy don't need us to live longer they're not about to share. If it starts with DNA Brothers then something Global that affects the whole world, then they will live A Thousand Years while we live our usual hundred. Tops. They'll have artificial wombs and feel entitled to have children because there won't be any rule about if you live forever you can't replace your cells or the planet will be too crowded or you have to develop an off-planet place for your descendants to go. They will feel entitled to clear space if need be and of course enslave us to do whatever AI can't do yet or for some reason they don't want AI to do yet. Never never forget the majority of AI benefits will be tilted in favor of the wealthy and the more dramatic they become the more that will be true. Right now check GPT is actually a wonderful tool to use in so many ways. Every week I discover another way but if it ever empowers me to the point that I can help stop what is happening to destroy society and the planet and everything on it then commas and the wealthy will have already had their surveillance and AI take care of my access to that sort of assistance. And the same will be true of you.. after all if you have a 100 years to learn everything you need to know about the universe and they have the most advanced Ai and 1,000 plus years who is going to end up being the dog owner and who the dog? Especially if they install chips in their heads as Elon thinks we will within a year.
