Received an email from en entity called "eko" asking for a donation to their cause. It was in alignment with my cause, but I never donate under certain circumstances, and being "pitched" via the internet is one of them. This entity claimed "Meta" is Facebook's AI tech, and that it is using our photos and info for training purposes. It does sound plausible. Soon, due to AI, we'll be getting non-stop emails, messages, calls, and video images of our loved ones in trouble and in need of money. AI will make scamming people so much easier, and it will complicate our lives exponentially. They will look and sound exactly like our loved ones, though be imposture with nefarious intent. Looks like me, as well as everyone else, may have to ditch Facebook and port over to a different platform without AI. To all inventors out there. We NEED inventions to solve the average person's needs relative to emerging technology. Our privacy is burning away fast. Please invent, "Drone Away." so we can just push a button to disable this intrusive menace when a drone is spying on us on our property, a foot away from our window. Moreover, houses need to start being built the right way with this future in mind. Insulation should now not only keep heat out and cold in (or vice versa), but also keep out spying tech that will be able to penetrate our homes and invade our privacy. Do we really want the government listening to our every conversation? We moved from IP (internet protocol) version 4 to IP version 6 because we were running out of numbers. We have enough numbers to address and control every single molecule on the planet I heard. The future is moving toward total integration. We will be able to control every single light bulb in our house, the furnace, AC, oven, microwave, toaster, unlock and lock our doors via our smartphones if we want. However, this system is highly susceptible to hacking. It is a liability that many people may embrace at first only to be taken advantage of.
