As an artist the actual AI itself doesn't worry me, the way it is rn and furthermore the fundamental way current AI image generators actually work is not fit for the industry what so ever.
However what I am afraid of and have always been are the impostors posing as creators. Thanks to AI generation the hurdle to fake your skill gets far far lower. the potential to scam ppl into thinking what you're creating is human art even though it is entirely AI generated and so so much more problems I won't even get into
