Companies who are firing programmers over AI and really just hiring Indians. Companies claim it's due to AI because the market eats that up pushing their stock higher.
For example, do you remember when Bezos opened a store that uses facial recognition instead of a checkout to charge you? Amazon stock shot up over this, however there was no facial recognition. Bezos hired Indians to watch the camera and do everything manually.
