I beta read someone's work for nothing. In fact I've offered it to several people for no compensation other than wanting to be helpful and because I enjoy it.
I'm a writer, an artist and a novice voice-actor by the way. When DeviantArt accepted that they're just corporate whores (pardon my language); there were AI bros who were telling me to actually kill myself because I'm apparently now so worthless as a human being, and DeviantArt does absolutely nothing about these people who are even now doing this on a daily basis seemingly as a psychotic habit, meanwhile they remove the works and outright ban people despite following their guidelines. But when an image generator user uploads something that goes against their policies, like child porn, they conveniently ignore this.
