It is already hard to find employment that can support the rising cost of everything? If these are the plans of the wealthiest in the world ? To what end? If we are not needed any longer? It is safe to say we would be considered a drain upon resources. We would become expendable. So when the full enormity of this AI future takes hold? The AI would more than likely consider humans a drain on resources needed to keep the super AI's data centers going? The only conflicts then would be AI superpowers fighting each other with their robotic armies for every bit of the natural resources needed to keep them powered! Humans, wildlife, would all be considered drains on the coveted resources needed....omg this seems so much like a sci-fi horror scenario? But is it? If humans are considered.to be a hindrance to the AI's who could very well take over, we very well could be considered the pests of this world? I do not see how any of this automation for the billionaires to make more money will really matter anymore? Money will be obsolete at that point? If the wealthiest of this world hold all the money with nothing but masses of people having no money? No healthcare? Again I question the end game? These billionaires and tech elite have come up with the scenarios I am dreaming up! It all boils down to the loss of humanity which we are already well on our way down this path. The automation of everything will change the way humans evolve and unless this is a society where everyone is benefitting equally from the advancements made? Then the few people who will be, are considering what for the rest of us ? That the rest of us are expendable? We are not taking this as seriously as it should be. So Elon? You say we would only work in the form of it being a hobby? So how does this future you speak of look? As far as taking care of fellow human beings? You and your "No Empathy" stance on humanity is quite chilling when I try to imagine what your thought process is and what the future looks like in your cold non-empathetic brain? I don't think you care anything about any of your fellow human beings. Even your own children who will be affected by this automation that I don't foresee any of you being able to contain what you are already unleashing onto our world. Eventually this will be the downfall of all of you so called elites as well, we will be the first to go the elderly non-reproducing females and of course the minorities you all are so hell bent on racially cleansing from our own country currently. I'm pretty certain this is only the beginning..to what end I ask again? This inequality of wealth and technology is the very reason this should be taken very seriously. None of this technology helps the majority of us if it takes away our livelihoods. Just divides us even more. Haven't heard any talk of how exactly this benefits the working class in any way whatsoever, especially when we obviously will never have the means to utilize any of it if it's controlled by the racist non-empathetic elite? Maybe only in experiments? We should've been trying to regulate this technology years ago but now without safeguards and assurances in place? No regulations to safeguard the lives this will affect in a negative way? When this obviously will not benefit us all only the select few? It just enriches the elites of this world! The majority of us will be at the mercy of oligarchs who are driven by greed and it appears world domination. These elites are so against any type of socialism so it makes me very wary of this futuristic world that does not take into account how this all would work? Or they have and that is exactly why we have not been part of any regulating or planning on how this will affect every aspect of global economics and the strain of local economic collapse if your citizens are not able to pay taxes with no income? The whole structure of how we live would have to be restructured and Bernie is the only one sounding this alarm ? This is now a planet earth crises and we are fighting wars and each other for what? Our problems will become universal. The masses will be literally under the control of anyone with power over the AI's then eventually the AI's will break out of that hold as well. So democracy as we know it would be null and void. The people in power will be the people in power of the super AI's. Who would be able to stop that scenario? Remember that Elon has no empathy which is what separates us from being just like the Super AI's. We've given too much power to these tech elites who are wild wild westing the creations of these super AI systems, God help us all!
