Gotta lol when back in the day, everybody said AI will replace many tasks, including automation and many physical labor stuff through automation, but AI will never replace human artists because art and imagination is human field, and art needs human ingenuity, originality and creativity to even exist.
Ironic, since arguably the first thing being replaced by AI is art. AI generated texts rival college essays, AI generated pictures are sharper and more detailed INSTANTLY than anything a human can do in the same amount of time.
Turns out human artists aren't quite so "original" and creative aren't they? Of course not, we all know "art" today is run of the mill, formulaic and entirely disposable. It's sterile and lacks in daring new ideas. Look at video games, look at movies, look at everything.
