Every time I heard some crap about "AI allow disabled people to create art", I roll my eyes in sheer annoyance. Why? *1.* I'm disabled myself, mentally. I suffer from ADHD/Autism and I'm a full-time freelance illustrator. Granted, I dont have as much trouble as a physically disable person but being mentally disabled have its own set of challenge, especially when freelancing. I have to stay on top of things like taxes and paperwork but yet, mentally just the thoughts alone...its boring and uninteresting so my attention on it is VERY short and most time, I get distracted by something else for the business and the work dont get done. I know ppl would call me out to be lazy or something but fools, I've been diagnosed by a ADHD/Autism Specialist when I was a kid so dont even try. *and 2.* I've literally seen videos of couple artists who have used their feet and mouth to create artworks! Look up Alana Tillman or Rosie Jon!! Alana was born with arthrogryposis so her arms/hands are completely useless yet she paints beautiful works WITH HER MOUTH! and Rosie, a woman who was born with NO ARMS (she really have like 1/3 of arms with no hands), paint artworks with her feet!! Both are physically disabled to the point that on paper, they couldn't be able to do art and yet they found ways to create art while disabled!! So tell me again, how is AI allowing disable people to create art? That 'excuse' is load of bull and using AI to create art to pass it off like digital painting or something is just absolute disgusting regardless. It is just a poor excuse for people who dont want to do art and just want to make quick bucks honestly. Now, if AI was used in planning phase like trying to figure out a pose or something before a single pixel, sketch mark, or drop of ink even hot the canvas, that I'm somewhat flexible about since it's being used as a tool to create something by human hands rather than IT creating something itself...
