Can someone explain to me the difference between AI 'stealing' art and real human learning how to draw by looking at other people's work and trying to replicate it? Because i really don't see any difference. Like as a human every idea, every thought that you have is just a mix of things that you've already seen. You literally cannot come up with something that isn't based on your past experience or knowledge. That doesn't mean that you can't create something original. The originality is a result of a unique background of an artist. AI does the same thing. But its 'past experience' and knowledge is dataset that consists of other people's work (human's past experience also contains other people's work but is not limited by it). I'd be completely fine if you just said "i don't want to help ai get better because it might take my job". That's understandable. But you're trying to make an excuse pretending that the way all real artists learned how to draw isn't the same as AI learns. That looks like hypocrisy. Or i'm just missing something. Idk
