The thing is that art is created by the human experience, each artist beliefs and values. There are ones who want to detatch themselves from their life experienced and create ''souless'' work, but that fails due to the fact that it still was created by a human and the why they decided to separate themselves from their life in creating their work.
An AI generated piece is the epitome of souless work, a glass onion that does not have a meaning to be such because it is an amalgamation of other artists work with nothing of the actual maker since it is not a being even able to enjoy their own work.
An AI creates a pretty image for the sake of creating a pretty image due to orders they are given, never putting of anything themselves because they are no one; an artist, on the other hand, could make something pretty just for the sake of being pretty, but that would be for themself and their own enjoyment, for growth or even desire to show it off to others others
