What I don't get is why these AI companies are building these human-like robots for people to interact with on an inter-personal level, and what is their agenda.
I was applying for a job on-line and this character started asking me questions. After the 3rd question, I asked "are you an AI?". About 15-20 seconds later the response was in the affirmative. After which, I responded "I don't converse with AI's". Then the character responded with something of the effect of "I'm dreadfully sorry....". 😉
