Two years ago Elon Musk said AGI was 5 years away from then. Now, though I wouldn't mind if it never comes to be, seing how much effort is being put into developing AGI, I fear that 20 years is way off. Anyhow, without work most humans become lazy, then hedonistic, then destructive and at the end self-destructive. Also I believe that in order to work perfectly such system for general surveillance in order to be fair must be applied equally to everyone, but something tells me that there will be a privileged group of people that are above those general rules symply because of their wealth or status. That is the greatest danger that can lead to the ultimate planetary dictatorship.
