I use LLMs a lot and they have dramatically improved over the months in all domains. I agree that AGI is almost unattainable but grouping specialised models with a meta model conveys an impression of intelligence. No human can process as much information on any topic as LLMs can. That being said, you omitted a major limitation of the current models---the crossover point between human and artificial training data. Future models are inherently going to hit a wall as more of the data they train on echoes their own. This is the greatest point of failure of this race to AGI.
