As a machine learning student. AI is a powerful tool and interesting thing to learn about, but I hate people who using the AI to create "art" and call it their own. the AI company might play a role in the issue but for me I feel like the issue is mostly from the media platform which is the one selling those data for training data set. I'm pretty sure the dev don't have the time or will power to go through every single data to see which is legal and which is not. AI art is cool and all but for me to enjoy an art not because it look nice, it's the fascinating process of the artist create that piece, like look at the art and see something unique that the artist did which make it interesting for me. I think AI has potential to help artist alot but kinna make me sad seeing those potential wasting in bad hands.
