For what I see on my time here, most AI bros are interested in the fact that having a "free artist" that gives them the artwork they need, at lightning fast speeds is a good thing. Because, for even the simplest artworks, you need to pay a good amount of money to an artist, or just do it yourself. That's how it always had been. If you can't pay an artist, then do it yourself. This is why AI bros are so pro AI image generstors. Try to see things from their perspectives. While it is terrible to see people lose their livelihoods, it is equally important to recognize the immense amount of condescending attitudes that multiple artists have shown to people. The reason why there are so many ppl rooting for AI is fundamentally because of the scumminess in the artist community. Most can't take criticism and face the fact that the art they put out there isn't as nice as they think it is. This has been plaguing that community for years now. Even a simple twitter banner costed $100 when it looked like a childish scribble. What this means for the future, though, is that artists in general will die out. Why? Because the most efficient way is to just generate AI images and removing the parts where it doesn't make sense. You can already see tons of people scamming, using that on fiverr. So I wouldn't be surprised if art itself dies. Because the trust in artists would be destroyed
