This conversation revolves around product, not art. The only artists threatened by AI are artists who's income depends on producing art. A human artist can never hope to achieve the productive output of an AI. Everyone else is a hobbyist on both sides, either because they like playing with AI image generation or because they like working with more traditional mediums. They will do what they will do regardless of the cost or profit.
