Ai is not the entire problem. Let's say someone counterfeits your art the traditional way, or just imitates your style almost perfectly using your own tools, is this acceptable because the person has a grasp of how to draw ? No what actually hurts I assume is the theft, the lack of recognition and the cash grab not necessarily the ai part. Humans do that, and true: ai does make it noticeably easier if unchecked and brings along it's own bag of problems. I agree with you it remains unchecked in a lot of areas. But the fate of those limits is in human hands and moulded by human behaviours to which we should turn our attentions rather than to destroying the tool.
