You dont necessarily have to remove humanity from AI art. I believe we are in an era similar to cave paintings and magnavox odyssey with AI. I think we should judge these creations on those merits. Most of it will be boring, lazy and not good art but that we should treat it not like a sentient being but like a creation of someone using certain tools. And these tools are very basic right now and hopefully burn to the ground but if they wont - they will stay and I think it would be unfair to discredit everyone using them. For example, the sketch that was used in an AI prompt. While it is probably hard to argue the original sketch is way better and that advancing the technology would not help, knowing how to mold the (potentially) future AI clay and spending as much time on prompting it as drawing the sketch could make the question "which is better" more debatable. Is electronic music art? Are video games art? Is 3d animation art? These are all results of proper prompting and using of electronic tools. And if they are art, why wouldn't AI art be art
