The "senior dev 19% slower" is very a ver old pre-Opus 4.5 stat and mostly in the context of using a copilot. So much of this is just cute countertrend fear mongering to satiate luddites. AI-native devs that have a good understanding of system design, where to draw proper boundaries, and how to iterate over codebases with these tools are doing great. AI isn't replacing devs and this entire article is cringe.
