If AI produces material abundance at near-zero marginal cost, the question is no longer "how to find a job to survive," but "how to organize ourselves to truly exist."Instead of fearing human obsolescence, we should be working right now on community resilience and a universal dividend. AI can handle subsistence (the material), leaving us free to focus on existence (meaning, art, social connection). Let's not confuse the end of wage labor with the end of humanity.
