Altman is arguably the right leader for OpenAI and for responsibly steering the AI revolution. I believe he's an ethically aware leader, that will be able to balancing AI optimism with caution. Chris Anderson deserves praise for asking incisive, extremely relevant, and honest questions.
What needs to be re-stated very clearly here is that the AI revolution’s safety ultimately requires broader global cooperation beyond any single leader’s vision.
