The danger with A(G)I is with what it can persuade the average parson to believe. The internet promised a world where people everywhere were informed, but instead gave us a world where most people were deceived. AI simply takes this to the next level where everybody is deceived. The smartest people know its happening, the less so have no way to know what is true and what isn't. AI should be limited in what it is allowed to work on; medical research - great, engineering - great, science- great, information technology - NO WAY - ban it.
