Dude i always hated when people told me you have to have just a natural talent to draw. Like i used to suck and still suck at art. But the idea and hope i'll one day be genuinely proud of my art makes me want to keep going and makes me keep drawing, showing my art, and learning new things about art and the type of artist i hope to be. I find it kinda depressing to be an aspiring artist during the rise of ai art, the idea that the thing i spent years practicing and adoring will one day become completely irrelevant. But honestly, seeing things like your art, indie animation, and other artists showing off their art makes me feel slightly better
