It kind of depends. When I create art with AI, I often have a clear vision. So I tinker with the prompts and select areas, so ir generates exactly what I want.
Normally this doesn't work out. But if it does, I think there's nothing wrong with it. It's always some compromise.
Do I want to put in a lot of work/money/time into something nobody cares about anyway?
Do I just sacrifice quality to get at least the points right which matter to me?
Or do I use AI to get a good quality, but some of the important points are missing?
Or do I do some hybrid approach?
