The biggest issue with this scenario is the amount of unemployment not blowing up the economy. Mortgages, loans, and other forms of debt default. Millions are without jobs and can't afford anything. This would ruin the economy quicker than any potential gains from AI. Productivity can only go so far anyway. The backbone of the economy is still the consumer. If they have no money to use for consuming, then everything falls through. These scenarios are normally poorly thought out. AI will have to fit the mold of the economy we already have. Over a long period of time, it may shape the economy. It will not be all at once.
