At this point I dont even care about art theft and laziness (okay that's not true I totally do) but what I care about more is the environmental impact. the amount of water generative ai uses is insane and there are already so many people who don't have clean water. and yet we waste what we do have on destroying creativity and critical thinking and everything else bad that ai is doing to us. we do not have infinite resources no matter how much rich ceos want to act like we do. we need to protect our resources and preserve what we can.
