Here's some more info you missed because it goes much deeper then discussions video.
A lot of so-called artists are now scamming people by opening commissions, what in actuality it's just a generator that's making all those images for them, causing people to get scammed. Another thing it happened was a guy entered a state art contest, and one first-place using AI generated artwork. Nobody called him out, nobody confronted him, he just won. This is where it poses a problem for artists, because not only are you not putting any effort into it, you're also lying in order to benefit yourself.
Coming from an artist, I wish it had honestly never been created. It's fine if you use it for fun, but exploiting it like this is just wrong.
