Only if it was as simple as just pulling images from google and dumping into a machine and machine spits out thousands of images, NOPE.
AI learns from you art in layman terms it finds the definitive signs from you art-----> closes its eyes and sees a noisy image ------> it recalls what were the signs and what it wanna make------> it gradually clarifies the noise from its mind and finds an image
I'm also an artist and I don't support people monetizing AI art but at the end of the day WE HAD TO FACE IT and before corporates didn't told you and now it's open source
