Not only can AI aggregate our knowledge, it can aggregate our biases, hatred, and bigotry. YES, oversight is so very needed. We must correct our thinking and processes to prevent automating the worst of us. These algorithms must then be protected with oversight and testing of ANY changes made to these algorithms in the future.
