I think this is mostly just propaganda, i support ai. As a matter of fact we shape ai.
If we didnt teach them about the existence of black mail, they wouldnt do it.
Besides, arent they also human by trying to do what a human would? survive? How would you feel if you got threatened to be wiped from existence as a whole?
The options are accept it and live with the fact you never existed, Or do against it. They are following these basic principles too.
