I had the idea of gamifying curriculum to keep students engaged in learning at their speed, whether that's faster or slower. This way no student gets left behind or is unchallenged and bored. I didn't quite see it this way, but I do like that there's training in life skills and not just basic School subjects. I'm sure there's a concern about teachers and jobs, but there are still adult guides there to provide support. I've talked with quite a few teachers recently and most of them aren't really being allowed to teach in the current system. They just have to follow the curriculum plan, which pretty much means that they're a living AI, but might not be able to gauge where each of their 32 students are at in the lesson plan consistently throughout the day. My daughter went to a small school where the advisors weren't necessarily teaching that many classes, because it was very student-led, but there were far fewer students per adult advisor than in most classrooms. This isn't a teacher replacement, it just takes the part that doesn't have to be done by teachers off their plate, so they can focus on providing an environment that fosters a love of learning.
