There are many environmental scientists who think we are on the brink of extinction ,also on an exponential trajectory, the case is made for reducing emissions and saving the planet and life sustaining systems, as the most urgent need. In this case ai is certainly not our friend in the short term with it’s crazy energy use, and time is of the essence.
