How many years will it be, before Kerala could apply AI in farming? Farmers are giving up agriculture, because of a number of reasons. Poor returns tops the list. The enormous cost of labour and lack of support from the Government. Inadequate support price and the extraordinary delay in payment of crops sold are areas where the Government could help the farmers. Exploitation by the middle men and horders is another. The application of AI could be the answer to reducing the cost of production.
