I also think that there should be legal guidelines as to how AI should be used. Otherwise people would simply exploit it on various grounds and in some cases they might trigger a very destructive process that might be beyond our abilities to control. But Ai art should stay. The art, models etc they create can speed up our development process by huge margins. Artists can take inspiration from AI art. While you might look at it as identity threft or forgery you can also see it in a positive way such as something new or humourous if the AI kind of made it bad. But certainly the best of the best arts will rise in top of the foodchain making the artists more famous. Artists are original creators so I don't think AI can ever replace them. So I don't see a future where artists won't be needed or they won't get a decent pay. As a programmer/game developer myself I can see how Ai like chatgpt is producing codes. Which is obviously someone else's work and can also be considered intellectual property. But I've chosen to consult it instead and learn from it. It can replace my excessive reliance on Google and stackoverflow where people are toxic anyways. Without a doubt chatGPT has hugely made my development faster.
