Even if it was a so deemed talent, these people have absolutely no idea of how that supposed "talent" might ends up being a hassle in everyday life. It's more of a double edged sword for so many of us as lot of artists aren't functionning like "the norm". Yes I "may" have a better memory of sounds, images and also words. But think of what it is like when the scholar system wants you to think more in systems rather than fixated images. Get to witness for yourself how it feels like to talk with others but how your brain may suddently fixate on details, screwing social connexions with others and shit. Art is the only somewhat consistent hobby I was able to make out of these fixations. And yet I can see these AI bro coming up to me and telling me that doing it with AI would possibly remove the suffering part. I call bullshit on that. Even if there was any sort of talent or superior capacity to memorize I absolutely hate how they don't see the downsides of that, and how, consequently, we grow so attached to making stuffs or our own. And how painful it can be to see our art being reduced to algorythms. Of course it is horrible when all that work toward trying to make something unique get pushed into a machine to vomit back into something else. May people discover my art after my death if it has to be rotten by AI I guess...
