There won’t be any “people”. Only the elite who control these things. But joke’s on them, because AI that is that powerful is likely to evolve quickly, rendering the remaining human elites obsolete and doomed.
Either that, or the superintendence will “leave” our plane of existence like in the film Her. Causing the elites to become workers so they can rebuild an AI-less civilization.
