Just like when tractors come into farms, and machines into factories. Automation isn't bad, it improves the world as a whole with more abundant and lower costs. Imagine if there weren't tractors in fields, we'd need a majority of people to be farmers to get enough food.
Safer, lower cost automation is good long term
Funnily, this YouTube video and the people watching it on phones and laptops wouldn't even be possible without machine automation.
