I love how everyone assumes AI art is going to take over the art scene and everyones panicking that it will take artists jobs yet no when batted an eye when it was still infantile and stealing the jobs of actual working people in areas like manufacturing and production. Guess what? People are still going to buy art from humans because it will become something valued for the simple humanity of it and also because an artist has their name tied to it. Guess who won't get their jobs back though? All the factory workers that robots and AI replace. The fact that artists can cry about AI taking their jobs while all they do for society is sit at home and do something which many other people normally just do for fun reeks of privilege. Its like an athlete complaining that they are only making 2 million dollars, be happy that you only have one thing to worry about.
