AI isn’t the one taking jobs away—business owners choosing automation to boost profits are.
Consumers could push back by not supporting companies that replace workers in this way, but most people must still buy from whoever is cheapest like when Walmart comes to town and small businesses suffer.
We’ve already lost hundreds of thousands of jobs to AI, yet there’s still no UBI!
Unfortunately, if it is not yet implemented at this least expensive point in time, then it’s very unlikely to appear at a much more expensive point in time.
Therefore I call BS and the millions this will affect better start taking action now!
