If all human art depended on mimicking previously existing art then we wouldn’t have any art. If you train an ai on all the Stone Age cave art we have, it will never move on and make something new. That’s proof that everyone saying it’s doing the same thing as humans is either lying or hasn’t thought about it for more than a minute.
