Did internet access make us dumber? Plausible answer: the world is still too complex for assuming that humans have "topped-out" in any fashion. Albert Einstein had a geometric analogy as a perspective on knowledge: "As the diameter of a circle of light increases, so does its circumference of darkness." One gist of that perspective might be "the more we learn, the less we know." Another gist is "I know too much to not understand that I'll never know enough!"
