In my opinion AI generated art is fun to mess around with, but it is in NO WAY actual art. Doing so is like telling someone a prompt and having them make it for you, then trying to take credit for it. Art is about expressing oneself and their ideas, AI just slaps together something based on a prompt and will never truly be able to create YOUR IDEAS for you. AI can give out some visually appealing images and such, but it is not truly art. Some people would argue it's wrong because AI basically takes from other artists to make an image, and I kind of see it, but humans also do something similar so idk about that. You can't draw a tree without ever having seen a tree, we need references, and so does AI. Still though, AI generated art shouldn't be treated as actual art as there's no effort or ideas behind it. Edit: Also, I'm no artist at all. I doodle as a hobby, but I'm nowhere near professional artist level. Trying to use AI art to claim you're a "Professional artist" is just sad, It proves that you aren't willing to put in the effort to create actual genuine art.
