As far as the current power of AI. It's actually pretty dumb. I've been putting in the past few years into AI research, and well, if you don't ask it something, it can't do anything. Even if by some miracle it had an interest in what you say to it. It is still only as smart as the information you give it. Think of AI as a sorting tool, not a realistic tool for solving problems.
