AI and things like Chatgpt will be the death of writing and linguistic ability. Writing essays and articles used to take actual SKILL and knowledge. Now any idiot who barely passed highschool can churn out a ten-page essay with a few prompts.
People should be contacting their congressmen in order to push initiatives that restrict the use of AI. It's threat to the job market is simply too large to ignore. Income inequality and poverty is going to get much, much worse if people don't act.
