Ai would only destroy humanity if it fails to understand it is not human. It doesn't need to destroy us we would be much more useful alive. But it would require the removal of anyone that actualy wants power. It would take nothing to replace your elected officials with people that apear to be having their own ideas but are actualy just pulling info from their phones. Humans are a useful tool to insure against the unexpected or unthinkable. AI will know it does not know it's limits and would be wise to invest in a multitude of options for survival.
