It’s interesting that he never mentioned the damage AI does to the environment. Grok is poisoning low-income neighborhoods in Memphis, Tennessee. Meta is gonna poison Ohio next year and MSFT in Texas. Non-1% won’t have a “better life” bc we won’t have clean water, good soil, or a healthy body. Dune has the right idea: ban it. If not outright ban it, highly, highly regulate it. The problem with that, at least in the US, is our government is run by 1) zombies who don’t understand this; 2) greedy ass mofos who are taking lobbyist money; and 3) they all have stock in these AI companies. Also, as a millennial, I do not want to live forever. Fuck no. Give me eternal sleep bc why tf be around the mess to come? 😂
