Don't ever let them convince you a college degree has no value. While there some degrees that are not beneficial and required for the labor market and are a waste of time and money they keep selling "college degree has no value and going to college does not equal intelligence" lines or paint a piece of a puzzle as the whole picture to cover up their for greed. They don't want to pay a college educated and skilled person's worth or a decent living wage. For years same society has told our generation that college was the only way to get the acceptance of employers and to succeed in life but they moved the goalposts because employers are turning to outsourcing and H1B visa in addition to AI to cut costs and avoid paying higher wages while they are worth billions of dollars. In addition politicians say they are creating new jobs. It's all become a rigged game. Sorry for Gen-Z and Millennials who were pressured to go and gaslit into taking on debt.
