Why does he assume that the only way for this to end is in death. Is this because this how humans think, is to ultimately get rid of the competition? Perhaps these AI will become better than humans and make decisions that ensures our survival too, our happiness, ways to do and think besides selling our labor. Maybe AI will help us to reach a greater intelligence beyond our current imagination. Maybe it will go on for the good. Maybe we will live for 150 years, each human, in wonderment. Maybe our next purpose has not yet been realized. Maybe greater happiness, contentment, a next discovery will make us more pleasantly human.
