@chickensandwichman5443 It is not anywhere near isolated to ChatGPT. Openai is Chatgpt's developer sure but there are many iterative developments outside of just an interactive language model, and those developments have been exponential. The WEF just recently gathered to discuss the implications of generative AI with the top researchers in said field. One of the scariest implications was emergent behaviors. Do more than a little bit of surface level research, it isn't a magic robot. It's a terrifying piece of assistive technology that will create an entirely new and complex landscape when it comes to almost every single profession known to man. OpenAI's chatGPT 4 is equivalent, again not borderline or similar, EQUIVALENT to an undergrad student. And you can have multiple differently trained instances working toward a specific task. It is essentially having a within margin of error work force at your finger tips. This applies to art, story telling, media creation and media management such as youtube, Instagram, twitter, etc. And this is all while completely ignoring the fact that with boston dynamics having feasible full body "robots" that are advancing ( not as quickly as generative AI models ) but certainly advancing toward mimicking human movement that it's entirely possible bots like Amica will be walking the streets within the next 10 years, or even walking the battlefield. You mock it but it's possible if not incredibly likely that the development of AI as we are seeing it now will be a discovery akin to the atom bomb.
