AI art requires very little talent compared to drawing on a canvas, but it still requires some human input. If I ask it to draw a cat expecting a giraffe, I obviously won’t get the picture I’m looking for. Using this logic, AI art is still art even if a majority of the work is done on a computer, because without the human giving prompts the computer won’t give you what you’re looking for.
It’s like comparing something you have made in adobe to the mono Lisa, adobe is going to be easier because you have more tools compared to a classic paint brush. so unless digital art isn’t art, AI art is still art even if the skill level isn’t as impressive. You’re comparing Apple to oranges, just like how you wouldn’t compare something you have made in a photo editor to a pencil sketch. You wouldn’t compare AI art to a painting or a sketch, because it’s a completely different type of art regardless of the skill level
